England’s Team Manager Craig Barr captured the biggest fly caught trout ever caught on Bristol Water Reservoirs, a cracking brown trout of 15lb 12oz during the recent Spring Home International held at Chew Valley, England. Craig caught the fish - which he will be having set up - off Woodford Bank. Using a Slime Line with thee flies the monster fish took the Flash Attack Craig’s Favourite UV Orange Blob attached to his top dropper. The Sightfree 10lb Fluorocarbon held up well to the 20 minute fight. For the first 10 minutes of the fight Craig thought he had hooked a large pike. But, just as he was reaching for his snips to cut it off, the fish turned “Just like a baby seal”, explained the excited Craig. The fish just about went into the net and was taken back to the lodge for verification, weighing and picture taking.
